About

Phase Intelligence is a research initiative building the execution layer for autonomous in silico scientific research and engineering design.

AI systems are getting remarkably good at proposing science and engineering: hypotheses, candidate molecules and materials, design concepts, modeling strategies. But between an idea and a result lies execution. Computational science and engineering span an enormous range of scales, from the quantum behavior of electrons, to the motion of molecules, to the flow of fluids and mechanics of solids, and each scale has its own theories, methods, and software. Turning a research idea or a design concept into a simulation that actually runs has long demanded deep, specialized expertise. The bottleneck of autonomous research and design is increasingly not generating ideas, but executing them properly.

That is the layer we build. Our systems compile research and design intent into complete simulation workflows: setting up the calculation, generating solver-ready inputs, running them, and checking the results, so that what comes out is not just plausible, but tractable, verifiable, and reproducible. We're starting with the domains we know best: quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, and fluid mechanics. MorphLING is our first step in that direction.

We don't yet know how far this approach can reach. Finding out is the point.
